In 2018, in an attempt to add vitality to an underutilized Instagram presence, the team and I set out on a 6-month project to experiment with how our mundane industry could look beautiful.
We landed on a personalization angle; showcasing unique ways individuals customized their homes and automobiles.
Part DIY, part decor, part re-envisioning and upcycling, the new content reflected creativity, personality, uniqueness, and inspiration, while the focus on home- and auto-based content kept us thematically on-brand.
In order to best govern and direct the theme, any Creative with a passion for crafting was asked to contribute IRL project photography. Combined with a multi-influencer partnership, the IG presence was completely overhauled, with significantly increased engagement.
